The 3.2-hectare Avonleigh Park estate, situated on the banks of the Coomera River, was purchased before its scheduled July auction after attracting significant interest.
According to realestate.com.au, the property received 21,000 online views and underwent 15 private inspections before being sold just 20 days after listing.
The Franklins’ new home features a modern farmhouse design set on elevated grounds with landscaped gardens and dams.
The property includes multiple kitchens and dining spaces, a home office, and an infinity-edge pool connected to an alfresco pavilion.
Equestrian facilities, including stables and a barn, align with the couple’s stated desire for a less suburban lifestyle.Â

The estate also comes with a chicken coop, garden beds, and riparian pumping rights.
Kara Christensen and Bella Sorenson of Kollosche agency handled the sale, which settled last week.

The property last changed hands for $1.1 million in 2011, representing a significant jump in value.

The move comes after the Franklins recently sold their Mediterranean-style mansion in Reedy Creek on the Gold Coast, which reportedly had expectations of $12 million.
They had purchased that property for $8.75 million in 2022 after relocating from Sydney, where they owned a $4.8 million Rose Bay apartment.

Guanaba, located about 32 kilometres northwest of Reedy Creek towards Tamborine Mountain, is a semi-rural district with approximately 800 residents and is known for its polo fields.
