Adam Levine and Behati Prinsloo list Montecito estate for $65 million

Adam Levine and Behati Prinsloo have placed their luxurious Montecito property on the market for $65 million (AUD$98 million), just three years after purchasing it.

The Maroon 5 frontman and his supermodel wife are selling their nine-bedroom, 10.5-bathroom estate to relocate closer to their children’s school.

The couple, who married in 2014 and have three children together, said their new home was “too special to resist,โ€ according to Realtor.com.

Their newly purchased property, built in 1919, represents a significant shift in aesthetic preferences.

According to the listing, the Spanish-style ranch features guesthouses, a barn, and stables, contrasting sharply with their current Ralph Lauren-esque Montecito mansion.

The 3.4-acre hilltop estate boasts impressive amenities including a state-of-the-art gym, wellness area, home theatre, catering kitchen, tennis court, vegetable garden, chicken coop, and koi pond. Its elevated position provides stunning ocean and mountain views.

Inside, the property features a modern yet elegant aesthetic with multiple fireplaces creating a cozy atmosphere while maintaining a classic California vibe.

The home includes numerous entertainment spaces, from an enormous kitchen with island seating to formal dining areas and living rooms.

The primary suite includes a walk-in closet so spacious it could function as an additional sitting room.

Outside, a swimming pool with sun loungers and umbrellas provides another entertainment area.

This real estate move continues the couple’s pattern of purchasing and selling high-end properties.

In 2018, they bought a Beverly Hills home for $34 million, renovated it, and sold it to Ellen DeGeneres the following year for $45 million.

That same year, they purchased a Pacific Palisades property from Ben Affleck and Jennifer Garner for $32 million, later selling it for $51 million, netting them a nearly $20 million profit.

If they secure their asking price for the Montecito estate, Levine and Prinsloo stand to make a $13 million profit on this latest transaction.
