More than 13 million¹ Australians visited realestate.com.au in October cementing the platform’s leadership position with multiple new audience records, connecting more buyers and sellers than ever before during the peak property season.
The milestone means over 60% of Australia’s adult online population² turned to realestate.com.au throughout the month delivering unmatched value to agents and their vendors.
The official Ipsos October audience data released today highlights that in the past 12 months, Australia’s number one address in property increased its average unique audience lead over the nearest competitor by an additional 14%³.
realestate.com.au audience highlights for October include:
• 13.05 million people visited the platform;
• Over the past 12 months, the average audience lead over the nearest competitor increased to 5.5 million people, up 14% on the previous 12-month average;
• A record 161.8 million visits were achieved, 109.3 million more than the nearest competitor⁴;
• Record membership with highest ever logged-in members to realestate.com.au driving record buyer listing views and shares⁵;
• Consumers spent an average of 38 minutes on realestate.com.au in October, 25 minutes longer than those visiting the nearest competitor⁶;
• The realestate.com.au app has now been downloaded more than 15 million times, and in October app visits hit a record 69.3 million – that’s 5 times more visits than the nearest competitor’s app⁷.
