A Home for All Foundation has announced four charity partners following the success of its inaugural A Night Without Home campaign.

Led by the Australian property industry and backed by REA Group, A Home for All Foundation  brings together organisations from across the property sector with a goal to make sure everyone,  no matter their circumstance, has a place to call home.

In FY26, all funds raised are being directed to support people experiencing homelessness or housing insecurity due to domestic and family violence.

More than 350 participants across 65  teams spent A Night Without Home in October to shine a light on hidden homelessness. More than $1 million was raised through the campaign.

Funds will be distributed to four high-impact charity partners selected by the Foundation’s  Advisory Committee.

A select number of Australian charities were invited to apply for the grants, with the Committee assessing applications against impact, theme alignment and geographic spread.

Women’s Community Shelters will receive $400,000, while Justice Connect, Friends with  Dignity and Women’s Safety Services of Central Australia (WoSSCA) will each receive  $200,000. These funds will help accelerate vital work across metro, regional and remote communities for people experiencing or at risk of homelessness due to family and domestic violence.

  • Women’s Community Shelters (NSW-based) will transform an underutilised site into supported temporary accommodation, transitional homes, and a dedicated community hub for women and children experiencing domestic and family violence.
  • Justice Connect(Victoria-based) will bolster its Women’s Homelessness Prevention  Program, which keeps women and children safely housed and out of homelessness. The  funds will enable an additional social worker in Victoria and an engagement and training  program nationally.
  • Friends with Dignity (Queensland-based) will use the funding to cover core operational support for programs across the Eastern Seaboard and Western Australia. The funding will  support the transformation of empty properties into fully furnished homes, providing  essential items within 48 hours, and supporting children with school items and  scholarships.
  • Women’s Safety Services of Central Australia (WoSSCA) (NT-based) will expand wrap‑around services and alternative accommodation beyond crisis, helping more women and children move from crisis beds into safe, longer‑term housing.

A Home for All Foundation Advisory Committee Chair and CEO of LJ Hooker Group, Christine  Mikhael, said:“Through the work of the foundation, our industry is stepping up as a collective to back charitable organisations that make a real difference, so fewer families are at risk of experiencing homelessness or housing insecurity. The funds raised through A Night Without Home will create pathways out of crisis and build the foundations for long-term stability. It’s estimated that this funding will enable our charity partners to directly support over 2,000 women and  children, and another 10,000 individuals will be supported with access to resources.”

CEO of Women’s Community Shelters, Annabelle Daniel OAM, said the foundation’s donation would allow them to provide much-needed support for women and children leaving violence.

“Domestic and family violence is a leading cause of homelessness in Australia, disproportionately affecting women and children. Eighty-eight per cent of our shelter residents are escaping domestic and family violence. The generous donation from A Home for All Foundation will help us transform an underutilised site into a safe, welcoming place for women and children leaving violence. It’s the  difference between having nowhere to go and walking through the door to a welcoming home  where you are safe, supported, and given the chance to start again.”

REA Group Chief Commercial and Marketing Officer, Kul Singh, said: “This funding is about giving our charity partners the capacity to do more of what they already do best. It will help create additional safe places to stay, keep women and children in secure housing, provide legal and social work support, rapidly set up furnished homes, and extend wrap‑around services beyond crisis accommodation.

“REA believes everyone deserves a safe place to call home.We know there is more work to be  done, and we’re committed to backing the foundation and partnering with the industry to bolster  the support of those impacted by homelessness.”
