JLL has announced the appointment of Selina Short as Chief Executive Officer of Australia and New Zealand (ANZ).
Ms Short succeeds Luke Billiau, who served as interim CEO and will return to his full-time position as Head of Capital Markets for ANZ.
The appointment will be effective 11 May.

Ms Short joins JLL from EY, where she served as Clients & Industries Managing Partner and a member of the firm’s Oceania Executive Leadership Team.
In this role, she led industry strategy, major client relationships and thought leadership across the region, establishing herself as a trusted advisor to governments, developers, investors and asset owners.
From 2019 to 2024, Ms Short led EY’s Built Environment and Resources practice across Oceania, overseeing a business spanning real estate, construction, infrastructure and resources.
Under her leadership, the practice achieved record growth and ranked first for client favourability and exceptional client service.

Selina Short brings significant built environment industry leadership experience, currently serving as a Director of the Green Building Council of Australia and as a member of the Champions of Change Coalition (Property Group).
She has held this role since its establishment in 2015.
Ms Short also held previous roles on NSW Government’s Landcom Board, Building 4.0 Cooperative Research Centre, and the Property Council of Australia National Cities committee.
The appointment reflects JLL’s continued commitment to the ANZ market and delivering world-class real estate services that help clients achieve their strategic objectives.
