McGrath expands Brisbane presence with three new offices

McGrath Estate Agents has opened three new offices in metropolitan Brisbane, bringing their total presence in Queensland's capital to 15 locations.

McGrath Estate Agents has significantly expanded its Brisbane footprint with the opening of three new offices in Ascot, Samford and Beenleigh, bringing the company’s total presence in the Queensland capital to 15 locations.

The strategic expansion captures Southeast Queensland’s transformation in what McGrath considers to be Australia’s premier growth market.

Chris Mourd, Head of Franchise Network for McGrath, said the company sees Brisbane as an increasingly sophisticated market with great opportunities.

“We see Brisbane as an increasingly sophisticated market with great opportunities for McGrath to provide a national and global reach for our clients,” Mr Mourd said.

“It is compelling with the continued interstate migration, lifestyle, infrastructure, weather, education and affordability.”

The new offices will be operated by well-known and respected franchise partners who are deeply knowledgeable about their respective locations.

McGrath Ascot will be led by selling Principal Chrese Morley, who has lived locally for over 40 years and brings more than 18 years of property experience to the role.

“The liveability of these picturesque suburbs will continue to drive price growth,” Ms Morley said.

โ€œBoth historic character homes and new construction blend seamlessly in these areas that are serviced by premier primary and secondary schools.

“Ascot is predominantly a family-oriented suburb with a high percentage of owner-occupied homes.

โ€œIt is very much sought-after by professionals looking for space and a lifestyle close to the CBD.”

Ms Morley will be joined by a sales team of three, including Keith Mahon who will serve as a partner and Business Director for the new office located at 4/68 Racecourse Road, Hamilton.

McGrath Samford will service the premium lifestyle belt on Brisbane’s north-west fringe and will be led by long-term local agent Chelsea Pickering, who has called the region home for 17 years.

“McGrath is a forward-thinking brand whose standards align with my own. They lead the industry in innovation, technology and buyer reach,” Ms Pickering said.

“That means our sellers will benefit from greater exposure and smart strategies, and our team will benefit from world-class support.”

Ms Pickering believes the Samford Greater Region will continue to gain momentum as a choice for a wide buyer pool, including young and established families, professionals, upsizers from suburban Brisbane, retirees and hobby farm enthusiasts.

McGrath Beenleigh will be led by well-known commercial agents Peter Laoudikos and Ben Sands, who are transitioning their successful commercial operation to include residential services with a team of 11.

Mr Laoudikos sees substantial growth opportunities in the area that connects Brisbane to the Gold Coast.

“The cost to purchase in Beenleigh offers great affordability with excellent growth upside,” Mr Laoudikos said.

“New infrastructure for the area includes plans to upgrade Beenleigh Connection Road and City Road. This will see a revitalisation, a reduction of congestion and improvement in travel times.”

Mr Mourd said that McGrath’s expansion aligns with Brisbane’s continued focus on infrastructure development in preparation for the Olympic Games, which he sees as a catalyst for growth.

Australia’s third most populated city will benefit from a $19 billion infrastructure pipeline with a $239 billion economy anticipated by 2041.

“McGrath’s expansion into Ascot, Samford and Beenleigh reflects more than a geographic diversification but a strategic expansion that captures Southeast Queensland’s transformation,” Mr Mourd said.

“The speed and access to navigate in and around metropolitan Brisbane and its outer suburbs is one of the best in the country.”
