The three-bedroom, three-bathroom corner loft in the historic Chelsea Mercantile building was first listed in May 2024 for US$3.99 million before being reduced to US$3.75 million in November.
According to Curbed, Blanco originally purchased the property more than a decade ago for US$3,445,000.
The 2,200-square-foot condo underwent a comprehensive renovation during Blanco’s ownership, transforming it into an open-plan layout with 11-foot ceilings and southeast exposures.
The property features a chef’s kitchen where Blanco, who has expanded his career to include cookbook authoring, likely honed his culinary skills.
The primary suite, separated from the rest of the apartment with white oak doors, includes a sizable walk-in closet, a windowed workspace, and a spa-like bathroom, according to the listing.

The apartment’s second bedroom includes a marble en-suite bathroom and custom built-ins, while the third bedroom was designed to double as an office space with a Murphy bed.
The staging subtly hinted at the musical background of the owner, featuring guitars and a keyboard in the spare bedrooms.
This New York property sale comes as Blanco’s personal life has taken a significant turn.

The producer, who gained additional fame through his relationship with pop star Selena Gomez, announced their engagement in December.
Just days before their engagement announcement, the couple reportedly purchased a US$35 million Spanish-style mansion in Beverly Hills.

The seven-bedroom, twelve-bathroom property represents a significant upgrade from the Chelsea condo.
The Chelsea Mercantile, where Blanco’s former apartment is located, is recognised as one of the neighbourhood’s premier full-service luxury buildings, offering residents amenities such as a 24-hour doorman, concierge services, and a rooftop deck with views of the Manhattan skyline.
Despite selling below the asking price, Blanco still managed to make a modest profit on the Chelsea property, which has appreciated slightly since his purchase over a decade ago.
