Skip the Saturday morning inspection queue with Domain Check-in

Domain revolutionises house inspections with new mobile check-in tool, making your Saturday morning easier, faster and more enjoyable

From today, the property industry will undergo a mobile check-in revolution just like the airline, travel and events industries have experienced in recent years, with the launch of Domain Check-in.

Every week Australian house hunters line up at inspections to write their contact information and preferences on an agent’s clipboard. This is time consuming, repetitive, and can often lead to delays and stop people getting to properties on their list.

Domain Check-in enables home hunters with the Domain app to register their details once on their smartphone, browse properties for sale, add them to the inspection planner and automatically generate an inspection pass.

When arriving at an inspection, those details will sync with the agent’s phone, meaning there’s no need to queue to give names and contact details at each home viewed. All information about the property being inspected is also available at your fingertips in the app.

Domain Check-in completely revolutionises the inspection experience, making it easier, faster and more enjoyable.

It will save both house hunters and agents all important time on a Saturday morning, meaning they can attend more inspections, or even better, have more time to spend doing the things they love on Saturdays.

Domain’s Chief Product Officer Damon Pezaro said:
“Anyone who has spent time looking for property knows how time-consuming the process of inspections can be. People are used to seamless mobile registration processes in other industries, so we’re excited to bring the property market up to the same standards.

“Property hunters should be asking their agents to get on board with Domain Check-in to make their lives a whole lot easier. It simplifies the whole process and saves weekends.

“We’re always looking for ways to make the process of finding a property easier and faster at Domain.”

Check-in joins School Zones, Instant Alerts and Home Price Guide within the Domain Property App, which remains Australia’s highest rated app for property.

Nick Deflorio, from Belle Property Mosman trialled Domain Check-in with his buyers. He said:
“I have been trialling Domain Check-in for the past few months and my house inspections have been totally revolutionised for those buyers using the app. It’s much more efficient and enjoyable for everyone, me included.”

Domain Check-in is now available to Domain’s app users, with more than 3000 agencies across Australia on-boarding their property listings progressively.
