RE/MAX tells you how much – in 80 countries

If you fancy a little globe trotting or perhaps wanted to pick yourself up a ‘pad’ in Paris, an exclusive global search feature answers the question ‘What can I afford?’ in the information-seekers home currency in 80 countries around the world.

“It doesn’t matter where the home buyer lives, they can search for properties on www.global.remax.com just about anywhere in the world based on how much they would like to spend,” said Michael Davoren, the Managing Director of RE/MAX Australia and RE/MAX New Zealand.

“Australians don’t only buy in Australia, and New Zealanders don’t only buy in New Zealand,” he said, “and for our property sellers, this search tool is a tremendous feature in attracting buyers from around the world to their properties.”

“The new Global Property Search widget on www.global.remax.com is for every homebuyer who’s ever asked the question: What can I afford?”

The Global Property Search tool is located in the top dropdown menu of the ‘Property Search’ tab on www.global.remax.com, as well as at the bottom of the home page. Visitors can now search listings in 80 countries, in over 40 languages and currencies.

RE/MAX has a presence in more than 90 countries, a global reach far greater than any competitor, with more than 6,300 independently owned and operated offices around the world and a sales force of over 90,000 sales associates.

Mr Davoren said the influence of the RE/MAX brand continued to grow, as new offices, sales agents and countries were added around the world. In the first three quarters of 2013, RE/MAX welcomed 11 countries to its international footprint, including Japan, the world’s third-largest economy.

The website, www.global.remax.com, had more than 137 million page views in 2013 and the number of unique visitors totaled more than four million, making it one of the most trafficked global real estate sites.

“Buyers living in Australia, New Zealand, Spain, Canada, South Africa, Costa Rica or scores of other locations can search for properties across the world that meet their wish list and their specific budget, with a tool that lets consumers discover in an instant where the best deals are and how they can spend their dollars, pesos, euros or other currency to make a great investment or buy the home of their dreams,” said Mr Davoren.
