Leading Perth property group, Realmark, has again been recognised for its innovative approach, with triple honours in the prestigious Australian Business Awards 2013, announced on Wednesday.
Realmark Managing Director John Percudani was thrilled to be recognised in not one, but three key categories: Enterprise (Realmark’s Innovative Business Model), Product Value (Realmark’s Tailored Solutions Property Management Service) and Marketing Excellence (We Love Property Management: Realmark’s 2013 advertising campaign).
He believes it’s a reassuring indication of Realmark’s commitment to innovation and its ability to deliver industry-leading services in all areas of the business. He said it was also encouraging as a WA enterprise to be recognised on the national stage.
“It not only reflects the dedication and drive from the Realmark team, but also shows that we’re achieving excellence in a number of different areas: it’s that kind of diversity which we’re always striving for,” said Mr Percudani.
Realmark received the Award for Enterprise for its Innovative Business Model, validating a bold move by the company 15 months ago to guide Realmark in a new direction.
“Instead of a regular “branchise” or traditional franchise structure, we sought to integrate elements of a co-operative system that would enable us to leverage tangible collateral and use our most valuable resource – our people.
“We wanted to build a platform for licensees to share ideas and resources, while playing an active part in the direction of the company as a whole. We also wanted to deliver equity and asset ownership advantages to them individually.
“It was a ground-breaking step but any potential risks were outweighed by the benefits, with Realmark experiencing significant growth at a time when the business conditions are tough.”
Realmark has had a positive history at the Australian Business Awards, previously receiving accolades for Product Value (2011) and Marketing Excellence (2009, 2010 and 2012).
Tara Johnston, Program Director of The Australian Business Awards, said Realmark was a worthy recipient, demonstrating its ongoing commitment to excellence and innovation.
“An Australian Business Award solidifies Realmark’s place as a leader alongside our best in business,” Ms Johnston said.
