Realmark Announces new COO

Award-winning WA property group Realmark has announced the appointment of former Metcash (IGA) WA General Manager Paul Slaughter as the group’s inaugural Chief Operating Officer (COO).

Mr Slaughter joins Realmark as an experienced and well-credentialed professional, having held executive roles at blue-chip companies including National Business Manager at Campbell/Arnott’s, General Manager Account Sales at Tabcorp and General Manager at Procter and Gamble.

The COO position was recently created as part of a strategic review designed to elevate Realmark to a higher corporate level within WA’s business community. Mr Slaughter’s role will be to lead Realmark’s executive team and oversee the growth of each business unit within the group, including residential sales, property management and strata management, commercial sales and property management. He will also provide leadership support to each of Realmark’s 17 offices around WA and will be responsible for growing the network of offices across the state.

“Paul’s appointment represents the wider strategic direction of Realmark and is indicative of the kind of highly-skilled, highly-motivated professionals we are attracting,” Realmark Managing Director John Percudani said.

“Over 25 years, we’ve grown from a one-office business into one of the most awarded and diversified property groups in Australia. Now, through the appointment of individuals such as Paul, we are positioning ourselves on a path for sustained growth and delivery of significant innovation into the future.”

“Throughout his professional career, Paul has demonstrated a consistent ability to lead highly successful and innovative companies. His emphasis on innovation and leadership are two values which underpin Realmark’s wider ethos and I look forward to working with Paul to further our reputation as one of Australia’s leading property groups.”
