Pre-Listing Presentations Now Made Easy on iPad

RP Data has launched its latest mobile application, rp.lister to the Apple App Store, allowing agents to build pre listings vendor presentations on an iPad tablet while seamlessly blending RP Data property data with the agent’s local area knowledge.

RP Data’s Innovation Manager, Lee Wade, said the data company’s programme of continuous user research showed that while Apple iPad was the dominant tablet device being used by real estate agents, there were very few apps allowing agents to harness the full potential of the tablet format to showcase vendor properties in professional and interactive pre listings presentations.

What makes our new rp.lister app unique is we’ve created five independent conversations that an agent may or may not wish to have with their potential new vendor”, Mr Wade said. “The point being the agent really is in control every step of the way, he said.

rp.lister’s biggest point of difference was the way in which we allow the agent to pre configure the presentation and then seamlessly blend in RP Data property data with the agents’ local knowledge. The resulting pre listing presentation is then free to twist and turn as the rapport and conversation with their vendor develops.

“Our app is deliberately not rigid. We don’t force the agent to follow a sales script from left to right,” he said.

Instead, we recognised that agents all have their own unique presentation styles and methodologies. So we built rp.lister to be flexible, and to help kick off and support these conversations, while also letting agents jump between conversations as the discussion develops with the vendor, Mr Wade said.

“Let me put it another way,” Wade said.

It’s a crude comparison, but think of rp.lister as an agent’s CMA report on steroids, being presented on an iPad to a vendor, Mr Wade said.

Recently, RP Data has had several back–to–back successes with real estate mobility apps. Starting with the Commonwealth Bank’s Property Guide iPhone app, which earlier this year won the “Best Of The Best” award at the annual AAMIA awards.

RP Data then quickly followed that success with the launch of “rp.mobile pro”, a mobile property system application on iPhone for RP Data subscribing agents to use when they are out of the office.

RP Data’s pedigree in the mobility space looks set to go from strength–to–strength with its latest app being rp.lister.

Other mobility applications we are incubating at the moment include consumer real estate games and property management and inspection apps, Wade said.

We can’t wait to see what’s next.
