Scott Bateman is the CEO of property management software platform Kolmeo, while Brock Fisher is its Head of Strategy.

“Get really clear on your requirements in what it is that you’re actually trying to solve,” Brock says.
“Then go looking for something to do that. So many people go looking for a solution before they actually understand what needs that they’re trying to solve and that’s just putting the cart before the horse.”
“In a world where everything looks and feels similar, be ruthless around whether you are truly different and if not, why not?” Scott asks.
“I think there’s so many ways you can separate yourself from your competitors these days.
“Ultimately that’s what’s crushing margins in most industries – everything kind of looks and feels the same. So take advantage of that stuff.”
