LJ Hooker Launches 582 New Mobile Websites for Offices in The LJ Hooker Australian Network

LJ Hooker announced the launch of 582 new mobile websites for LJ Hooker offices in Australia.

Georg Chmiel, LJ Hooker CEO said: “Australians enjoying their morning coffee can browse local open for inspection times, view auction locations, get directions and contact the LJ Hooker agent directly.

95 percent of all consumer property research start online and consumers are looking for experienced real estate agents with local expertise when executing one of the biggest financial transactions of their lives – buying a property.

Consumers in our fast paced technology driven world expect relevant, local information delivered to them immediately and are increasingly turning to their smartphones and tablets to conduct their online research.

78 percent of consumers recently surveyed by LJ Hooker believe a real estate agent with good knowledge of the local neighbourhood is the single most important factor when selling their home.

The numbers are staggering. There is more than 60 per cent penetration of smartphones in Australia, with 100 percent of users conducting local searches on their internet enabled phones.

But it’s what they do next that is important. Nearly half of them go on to phone the local business or visit their website and 45 percent actually visit the business in person.”

As part of LJ Hooker’s continuing commitment to helping customers realise their real estate dream, with the launch of myLJHooker and new corporate and local office websites in 2011, we have launched mobile sites at a local office level.

Most importantly these mobile sites offer the consumer the immediacy they are increasingly looking for and packaged with LJ Hooker’s local social media initiatives and myLJHooker portal, the sites also offer the consumer tips, advice and local offers when they want it.

“In addition, these new mobile sites offer each franchisee the opportunity to personalise their information to showcase their local services and their customers’ properties to the increasing number of buyers looking for immediate data,” said Mr Chmiel.

Since the launch in October 2011, some LJ Hooker local office websites have seen an increase of over 400 percent traffic.
