LJ Hooker Announce Buyers Agency

LJ Hooker have announced the launch LJ Hooker Sydney Buyers Agency, an industry first venture that will see the real estate giant expand services to cater for buyers.

High demand from overseas investors was the catalyst to the development of LJ Hooker Sydney Buyers Agency according to director, Kiril Ruvinsky.

“The idea for the new business developed quite organically, LJ Hooker has an international presence with offices situated across the globe in places like; New Zealand, Japan, Hong Kong, India, Papua New Guinea, Dubai and the US,” he explained.

“As such, each day we receive a high volume of referrals from these offices. These are buyers looking to purchase Australian property and invest in our strong real estate market. But as a company we couldn’t offer these clients any exclusive assistance and thus we found the opportunity for LJ Hooker Sydney Buyers Agency.”

According to Mr Ruvinsky – who has over 20 years’ experience as a Financial Adviser – LJ Hooker Sydney Buyers Agency will purchase property from all real estate brands, not exclusively with LJ Hooker.

“It’s quite simple our buyers can get access to LJ Hooker properties before they’ve even come onto the market, but we don’t exclusively buy LJ Hooker properties, we will be searching high and low to get the right property for the investor no matter what brand it is selling under,” Mr Ruvinsky said.

LJ Hooker Head of Real Estate Christopher Mourd said LJ Hooker Sydney Buyers Agency signals yet another way LJ Hooker is innovating to offer a full range of services to our clientele.

“Many buyers are time poor and cannot invest the 100+ hours it can often take to find the perfect investment property, our buyer’s agency arm can now fill that void for many of our high-net worth clients,” he said.

“Kiril and his team have the expertise, knowledge and industry contacts to ensure our buyers are finding the best investment for them.”

LJ Hooker Sydney Buyers Agency will offer three tiers of service, including;
Option 1 – Complete start to finish buying service
Option 2 – Buyer searches and finds the property and then the buyer’s agent look after the rest
Option 3 – Auction bidding on behalf of buyer

The team, which consists of veteran buyer’s agent Hylton John, will purchase property based on a 10-point scoring system that looks at elements such as; location, transport, size and facilities.

“We have developed a 10 point scoring system which we use to appraise against every property we inspect. Hence we are able to bring a detailed methodology to buying property,” Mr Ruvinsky said.

“Making a property purchase would rank as one of the largest investment decisions most people ever have to make, yet sadly we see people spend more time researching their next holiday than they do this important financial decision. We can take the guess work out for our clients.”

The Sydney based office will begin trading on April 8 at their new flagship office at 9 Castlereagh St.
