Supporting agents and vendors, Domain has rolled out coffee vans, serving free coffee at open houses and auctions.
“We wanted to find new ways to support agents and their vendors who have supported us,” said Tony Blamey, Domain’s Chief Commercial Officer.
The branded Domain vans arrive at the vendor’s property before open houses and auctions to engage prospective buyers.
Most recently, Domain has had the vans around Campbelltown and the Eastern Suburbs in Sydney and New Farm, in Brisbane.
Russell Wyer from Richard and Wrench Campbelltown said, “The van provided a strong drawcard to our recent auction in Minto. It really added to the event.”
The result was similar in Brisbane where Matt Lancashire, Principal of Ray White New Farm said, “The Domain coffee van at our auction was fantastic and very well received by the wider community. We had over 150 groups there and many people commented on how fantastic having coffee free on a Saturday morning was.”
Aaron Woolard from Place New Farm stated, “The Domain coffee van was great – our auction sold under the hammer for $400,000 above reserve and the coffee van drew in a lot of neighbours and interest. Would be great to see the van around Brisbane more often!”
“We have had fantastic feedback from agents, vendors and buyers from our initial trials a few months ago and have decided to roll this out both in Sydney and Adelaide for an extended period, said Blamey.
Domain will have two coffee vans operating in Sydney and Adelaide over the coming months.
Blamey notes, “Any agents who are keen to take advantage of this should contact their Domain Account Manager for further details.”
