DiJONES launch AI platform ‘askDiJONES’

DiJONES has combined house-hunting data and artificial intelligence to give homeowners an advantage when they consider selling or preparing to sell.

The askDiJONES “skill” (much like an app on a mobile device) can be installed into a person’s virtual home assistant and consumers can tap into the group’s live database of active and passive buyers and renters to see who is seeking similar properties in their neighbourhood.

According to the company, this could lead to off-market transactions, translating to a faster sale without the need for additional marketing costs.

Buyers can use the askDiJONES skill to get an initial indication of the value of their property or ask for insights on recent sales for their area of interest.

Investors and tenants are able to use the platform to inquire about rental property availability or seek out emergency contact information, all with a simple question.

The askDiJONES skill, which is currently exclusive to Alexa, can also provide the definition of some of the more commonly used terms in real estate by asking ‘how much is my home worth?’ or ‘what is a cooling off period?’

DiJONES CEO Rob Ward said this type of technology is revolutionary today but will soon become part
of our everyday lives.

“The growth in AI technology in the home has been incredible and is continuing to grow.

“Through the askDiJONES skill we wanted to offer our consumers, and the general public, access to our wide-spread database of active buyers and we knew that AI was the way to go,” he said.

This software is currently in stage one of development.
